2nd edit: omg-_- I just realized that the entire solar eclipse will take place when I'm having comprehension test tomorrow during GP tutorial. meaning that chances are I won't get to go out and stare at the sun.. !! this is really depressing omg. okay enough edits for today the post is getting messy D: SIGH. //

there's going to be a SOLAR ECLIPSE tomorrow! LOL cool potatoes!! I just heard about it on the radio this morning. pretty ridiculous for an astronomy lover like me D: anyways it's going to be 6 minutes and 58 seconds long, man!
"This solar eclipse is the longest total solar eclipse that will occur in the twenty-first century, and will not be surpassed in duration until June 13, 2132"
omg when the next one takes place we'll all be fossils already. okay I'm kidding but omg can't believe we'll all be dead in year 2132! that's like.. exactly 123 years from now, freaky much? anyways, "Using the Solar Eclipse Calculator at NASA, the eclipse will occur on Wednesday between 08:40:51 AM to 09:43:55 AM Singapore time."
omgomgomg damn coooool I've never seen a proper solar eclipse before in my entire life you know! but rah "Jinshan City Beach in Shanghai is the best spot to catch the eclipse." please get me transported to the beach place by 8:40:51 AM tomorrow kthxbai. //

hakuna matata! (okay okay failed attempt at trying to begin each blogpost with something more creative..)
I spy my blog viewership declining so I hope I haven't lost anyone due to my lack of updates! school life has been busy busy busy as hell.. grah. okay time to blog in point form again, haven't done that in a while :D
1. it's Sweaty Tuesday today! Sweaty Tuesdays are always.. well, sweaty, because there's PE and there's a chem lab period too D: you know that I sweat a lot! and I highly dislike Sweaty Tuesdays because they're YIKESSSS. PE lessons usually involve activities under the hot scorching sun (and since we are currently having the basketball module, we're at the courts) and chem lab periods usually involve utilizing the bunsen burner, so obviously we can't leave the fans on :/ oh wellsers.
2. point number 1 is so pointless.
3. CCA resumes tomorrow! meaning that I'll have to get used to getting home at 8pm on mondays and wednesdays again. sigh. and having stopped CCA for slightly more than 4 months, I feel kinda apprehensive :// I can't help itttt, it's like the feeling I got everyday when I just joined NYCO in sec 3. it felt really really weird. anyways this is really sad because I didn't get to interact with the seniors + bond with my current sectionmates much.. nevermind, I only started some major bonding with YQP towards the end of sec 3 in 2007 so I suppose I'll be able to bond with my current HCCO daji sectionamates soon as well! I shall attempt to feel optimistic :/
4. on a lighter note, MY DAD GOT A FREE 2ND GENERATION IPOD TOUCH FROM HIS COMPANY :D but that's probably old news already for most of you because I practically went screaming in delight about it at everyone I managed to catch.
5. I'm superduperuberly addicted to taptap revenge!!
6. anyways, I'll have to share it with my dad because he needs it for work purposes but of course, I get to use it when he's not using or overseas :D and that's like most of the time HAHA
7. speaking of my dad, he flew off again today. it didn't take me long to figure out that over these 2 months, I didn't even get to see him more than 10 times. ahhh it's been like this for years so I should just get used to everything D:
8. got back most of our block test papers/results already. actually there's only econs paper 2 left, but looking at what I got for paper 1, I can already see how "well" I did for paper 2 -_- oh and if you still remember, I had to hold my diarrhoea for 2 hours that day.. but honestly, I seriously doubt I would've done any better even if I didn't have the diarrhoea :/ I NEED TO PULL UP MY SOCKS FOR ECONOMICS!
9. and guess what, none of my subjects passed 60 marks. the closest was math because it was originally 60 marks before Mr Ng deducted another mark from me due to some stupid careless mistake! and 1 mark was all it took to pull me from a B grade down to a C. greaaaat!
10. got back biology papers today.. I guess I did okay-ish for all the other sections, except for MCQ! rah! horrifying. highest in the cohort was 84, an ex-nanyang girl who got full marks (20/20) for MCQ! omg madness madness madness I tell you :/ she should give me some of her brain cells :/
alright I should just stop talking about block tests because my results are plain depressing.. oh and happy things are once again happening on thursday and I cannot wait!
AHHH I shall be a diligent girl and go work on my chem practical worksheet now. then I'll try to finish the Reaction Kinetics tutorial or something.
btw, promos are approaching at an incredibly faster rate than I thought. 2 months. 70+ days left, and no one wants to get retained. oh and this is really belated but I shall end off my post with:
