Back from the HCI vs RJC waterpolo finals.
it was a good game, and there's no question about that :) to those who are disappointed, disheartened, demoralized, dejected and discouraged, cheer up! because it wasn't disappointing at all. it was definitely not disappointing (not even to the slightest extent) in the eyes of those who went down and watched the match today, because HCI waterpolo guys never disappoint :) they always do their best and it was crystal clear to every single person sitting in the audience today.
8-5, so what if we lost by 3 points? Vince Lombardi said that in great attempts, it is glorious even to fail. every success story is also a story of great failure, and the only difference is that the successful people never gave up. instead, they picked themselves up and bounced back with much more vigour and fervour each time they failed.
don't cry. all of you did well :) Hwachong saw you guys trying hard and fighting hard out there, and Hwachong's really really proud of all of you! we all know how much the game meant to you guys, and that what happened is going to be hard to forget. but smile. this is only one of the many many obstacles in life that we have to face. so pick yourselves up, wipe away your tears and move on. don't dwell on what happened, and don't let this one single failure hinder you. trust me, it's not worth it!
regardless of what the score was, all of you will still be Hwachong's champions in our eyes, and that's really what matters the most :)

ANYWAYS, found out something damn cool about jean, licheng, chingman and myself today! there's a 青 in all our chinese names! HAHA shows how much 缘分 we have :D so we're officially known as members of the GREEN club. haha. so cool right! 婧怡, 俐青, 静文, and 林菁 :D we made this discovery when we were writing on the JIAYOU balloons for junsong, then licheng was like oooooh! haha.
oh and the stuff we wrote on the balloons were super lame and gay because I was just giving random ideas and I didn't expect them to really write them down O_O one of the balloons said "JUNSONG, 放轻松!" and the other one said "加油, 用力游!" HAHAHA like what the hell, but apparently junsong only saw the first one. the second balloon just disappeared when we went for chem+econs lecture :/
I shall go haunt licheng for the pictures of the balloons and post them up when I get them :D

SIGH. okay there's nothing much to blog about today. but once again, don't be sad my friends! cheer up cheer up cheer up! :D because if you all start crying, then I'll feel like crying too. I nearly broke into tears when I saw them crying after the game today. and that's not good. so don't cry, keep the tears and don't waste them, yup? :)

ps. zomg, my throat's dead from all the screaming and cheering! haha and there's 2.4 tmr, everybody scream!!! D:
